Anybody for golf?

I've seen many strange things on the tube on my morning commute, but this morning I saw something new. A man in a suit got on the train at Barbican at about 8am carrying two single golf clubs. Yes he may have been going to play golf after work, but if that's the case surely you would need more than two clubs? What's the strangest thing you've seen someone carrying on the tube?

I once saw a pigeon get on a tube at Edgware Road. The doors closed and the bird was still on the train stood near the central pole. I wonder where he was going? If he was just tired of flying and just wanted to rest his wings on his way back home for the night.

  3. I'm certain I once saw Johnny Depp on the tube. He was sat opposite me, disguised in a dirty blue suit and odd socks. Masonic tattoos on his hands.

It was a cold miserably winter evening and I was on the train home from London. The train was rather packed and I was sat opposite an old man with crazy hair. He asked if I had a pen he could borrow, which I did. We got talking and started completing his crossword. After a short while he offered me a hard boiled sweet, I happily took one as my mouth was a bit dry from all the talking. It was only later in the evening when I got home did I remember my mum telling me not to take sweets from strangers. Oops...

Today i saw someone with an empty golf bag on the tube. I've never considered the tube a place for transporting golf equipment before but ot seems to be the new thing to do.

For those of you that don't know the train from Windsor to Slough only lasts 6 minutes and just goes back and forth between the two stations. This evening a soldier got on the train at Windsor, placed his rucksack in the overhead storage and sat down. Six minuted later we arrived at Slough and got off. As I turned around I saw that the doors were closing and this soldier was still on the train now on his way back to Windsor. I turned and said to my friend "I wonder if he is going to do that all evening?"
